Colin has been playing bass since 2003, studying with Arnie Somogyi at the Birmingham Conservatoire
first and later with Steve Watts and Nick Weldon at Trinity College of Music. Since 2006 he has been
living in London playing with various different groups, from folk singer/songwriters to Greek Rembetiko,
His band Nautilus was formed in late 2011 and is a work in progress.
It blends influences from, among other things, Latin American folk rhythms and free jazz.
